About the organiser

Sambhaavnaa Institute has been organizing political, economic, social and environmental justice program for past six years for social workers. Sambhaavnaa Institute is located in a village near by Palampur, Himachal Pradesh and the training venue and logistic arrangements are made in its premises.

About the workshop

Sambhaavnaa is very excited to collaborate with ‘Cinema of Resistance’ and to hold a three day workshop cum film festival for social and cultural activists and all individuals concerned with alternative media–its production, meanings, connections with issues and people’s movements.

This workshop is based on a curation of documentary films which will be screened along with discussions over a period of 3 days.

Who is it for

This workshop is for the people and activists who think about other alternative media besides mainstream media and wish to discuss and debate on the production, viewing and screening of media.
