About the FDP
Environmental Geotechnics is a multidisciplinary solution to present day problems such as scarcity of construction material, land constraints, energy crisis, carbon sequestration, seasonal influence on stability of soil structures, disposal and management of industrial byproducts, design and functioning of landfill, solid waste management, waste water and sludge treatment, soil and ground water contamination and many more.
Therefore, this FDP aims at sharing knowledge on diversifying topics in Environmental Geotechnics providing a platform to encourage research.
About NIT-AP
National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2015 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the youngest among the NITs. Since Dec 2019, it has started functioning from its permanent campus. The institute offers B.Tech., M.Tech., M.S. (by Research) and Ph.D. Programmes in 8 Engineering Disciplines.
The Civil Engineering Department offers B.Tech., M.Tech. (Geotechnical Engineering), M.S. (by Research) and Ph.D. Programmes. Faculty research interests include, but are not limited to the following areas: Earthquake Engineering, Environmental Geotechnology, Structural Health Monitoring, Wastewater Treatment, GIS-based Hydrological Modelling, and Integrated Watershed Management.

- A non-refundable registration fee of 300 INR per participant and last date for registration is 10th October 2020
- The entry is restricted to 150 participants.
- Participants who successfully complete the course will be issued an E-certificate
