UNESCO Headquarters, Paris has invited nominations for the UNESCO/ Japan Young Research’s Fellowship Programme (UNESCO/ KEIZO OBUCHI Research Fellowships Programme) cycle 2018
Japanese Funds-in-Trust for the capacity building for Human Resources, The Govt. of Japan has generously offered to finance 10 research fellowships, responding to its commitment to impact on capacity building.
The UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers’ Fellowship Programme focuses on post graduate research activities in the following areas:
- Environment, with particular emphasis on disaster risk reduction (DRR);
- Intercultural dialogue;
- information and communication technologies; and
- peaceful conflict resolution
Nominations should be forwarded to the Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO (INCCU) latest by November 15, 2018 (and should not be sent directly to UNESCO) at the following address for onward transmission to UNESCO, Paris.
Deadline
All the Applications should be sent to UNESCO by midnight on Nov. 30
