NIT Puducherry invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following Teaching position (On Contract- purely on temporary basis for teaching position in Mathematics.
Qualification
- First Class in M.Sc. with Ph.D. as desirable qualification in the relevant discipline.
- Specialization in Any relevant field related to Mathematics.
Salary
With Ph.D.: Rs. 54,000/- per month
Without Ph.D.: Rs. 35,000/- per month
Instructions
- The nature of appointment is purely temporary for a period of one semester (odd semester- August 2019 – December 2019).
- If selected, one month notice is required on either side to quit the post during the said tenure.
- Preference will be given to the candidate having Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Consolidated remuneration is fixed at the time of joining will not be changed during the period of appointment.
- The selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
- Canvassing in any form will render a candidate ineligible.
- Institute reserves the right to select or reject a candidate without assigning any reason/s thereof.
- Filled in application in the prescribed format along with the original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the relevant certificates should be produced at the time of walk in interview at NIT
