Applications are invited for a purely temporary “Research Associate” post in the Science and Engineering Resaerch Board funded project entitled “Sequencing of Ghost chili (Bhut jolokia) and C. frutescens to develop high throughput molecular markers for genomics assisted trait breeding”.
Eligibility
Eligibility/Qualification required: Ph.D.in any branch of biological sciences/ Bioinformatics.
Desirable: Candidates having prior experience of working with plant transcriptomes, non coding RNAs, methylomes (epigenome), development of molecular markers, whole genome assembly, annotation and related analysis, plant metabolite analysis, Protein extraction and analysis.
Fellowship amount
Rs. 47,000/ + Permissible House Rent Allowance.
Tenure
The position is purely temporary, renewable after one year and will continue until January 20, 2025 (the end of project) based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
