The Department of Physical Sciences of IISER-Mohali invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in a contract under the DST-INSPIRE project at IISER Mohali. Research fellows will have the opportunity to work with the multiwavelenth astrophysical data from satellites like AstroSat, NICER, NuSTAR, Swift and optical observatories.

Essential Qualification
PhD in Physics (Astronomy and Astrophysics). Expertise in Observational Astrophysics, X-ray binaries, AGNs. Candidates with X-ray (multi-wavelength) data analysis skills will be preferred.
Emoluments
Rs. 47000-54000 per month (All inclusive).
Duration
Six months (Extendable for six more months).
