The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) established under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Research Associates on contract basis to assist the Board in the discharge of its functions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
The IBBI is the regulator for overseeing insolvency proceedings and entities like Insolvency Professional Agencies, Insolvency Professionals and Information Utilities in India.

Essential Qualifications
Post Graduate degree in Economics or Public Policy from a recognized University or Institution.
Desirable
- Consistent high academic performance;
- Doctoral degree from a reputed University / Institution in Economics or a closely related area;
- Degree / Diploma / Certification in Regulatory Economics.
Remuneration
- Level-I: Rs.40,000 (<3 years of experience)
- Level-II: Rs. 60,000 (≥ 3 – < 5 years of experience)
Duration
Research Associates are initially required for a period of one year which can be further extended at best by one year as per requirements of the Board and subject to satisfactory performance.
