Applications are invited for the following temporary post of Project Officer / Senior Executive Global Research Activities the office of Global Engagement, IIT Madras.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Education, Business Development, International Development, Business Administration, Communication, Science, or related fields. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Sciences may be an advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Experience in an international higher educational organization or a similar environment is desirable. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills is compulsory.
Responsibilities
- Research & Coordination
- Coordinating adequate information dissemination pre and post international delegation visits as well as faculty/ student visit to partner universities
- Identifying/ researching for organizations/ universities for partnership & funding
- Identifying academicians or resources of international repute
- Ensuring that processes are followed, and activities are completed in a timely manner.
- Analysing information and making presentations
Job Description
The PO is expected to support and execute the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving and increasing international joint collaborations at IIT Madras with international institutions of repute. The PO is also expected to support the office to help frame policies related to international scientific collaboration amongst the faculty of IIT Madras and other institutions/universities with a strong international standing.
The PO is expected to co-ordinate various ongoing projects at the office related to education and research, partner coordination, work planning, reporting, communication, budgeting, organising events, etc.
Salary
Rs. 30,000/- pm to Rs. 50,000/- pm.
