E-Summit 2022 was successfully organised by E-Cell, IIIT Pune from March 19 to 27, 2022.
The Entrepreneurship Cell, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune emerged victorious
in making the impossible inevitable at E-Summit 2022 – organised by E-Cell, IIIT Pune in online
mode. It was one of the biggest ever entrepreneurship conclaves by any of the IIITs.
The event started with immensely excited spirits of young entrepreneurs on March 19, 2022 and witnessed a triumphant end with its closing ceremony on March 27, 2022, congratulating all the winners for their brilliant wins. E-Cell IIIT Pune proudly contributed to the booming startup culture in India and kept to its promise of fore-fronting opportunities to foster entrepreneurship and help the
youth nurture their innovative mindsets.
Events and Workshops
E-Summit 2022 received active participation from the most ingenious minds with over 12,000 registrations from more than 1000 colleges and universities across 5 countries. The summit had in store 14 different events focusing on various aspects of entrepreneurship from innovation to execution of ideas, pitching and marketing, decision-making and learning to keep prospering through wise investments.
These also included various fun events like Online Treasure Hunt, Poker, Deal No Deal and Brains on Fire. The first rounds of all the events were slated to be held from March 19 to 24, 2022 and the final showdown for each event was held between March 25 and 27, 2022.
E-Cell IIIT Pune has always promoted itself as a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping student entrepreneurs establish new skills to help them usher in innovative ideas and execute them smoothly. Hence, it conducted highly educative workshops on the most trending ideas in tech and business including Web 3.0, Digital Marketing and Metaverse.
Speaker Sessions
Under E-Summit 2022, E-Cell IIIT Pune brought back the second season of the most awaited and thought-provoking YouTube series, Breaking Conventions. It is a YouTube series produced by E-Cell IIIT Pune, aimed at increasing audience tenacity and teaching them about the modern structure of entrepreneurship, from eminent personalities and renowned organisations.
- Mr. Prasoon Gupta was the first speaker, and he took the audience on a brief tour over the
importance of yoga. - Ms. Mahalakshmi Saravanan was featured in the second episode, where she shared her life journey and ignited the confidence of the audience.
- Ms. Disha Singla inspired the audience in the third episode to be fearless in their pursuit of the ultimate goal and to never give up when faced with a setback.
- The fourth speaker, Mr. Abhishek Biswas, expressed concern for the nation and spoke about India’s youth and future.
- Mr. Vatsal Kanakiya shared his experiences as a venture capitalist and encouraged the audience to keep
investing in themselves. - The inspiring stories and life lessons by Ms. Himanshi Singh in the sixth episode won’t go unnoticed by the audience.
- Mr. Paresh Gupta, who was featured in the seventh episode, brought a wonderful energy to the discussion and provided the audience with a fresh way of looking at things in entrepreneurship.
- The eighth episode featured Dr. Annurag Batra, who provided great insights into the life of an entrepreneur, emphasizing the importance of dedication and determination.
- The ninth and final episode has the speaker Mr. Arjun Vaidya, where he filled the session with a lot of humour and some magnificent experiences.
This marked the end of this enthralling YouTube series. Finally, the 9-days long summit came to an end with the knock of a closing and prize ceremony acknowledging the efforts of the entire E-Summit 2022 team and the invaluable contribution of all the participants, jury members and sponsors.
