About the Organization and the Parliamentary Debate:
The Literary and Debate Cell of Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is organising the 1st Edition of the SLSH Parliamentary Debate to be conducted on 7th & 8th September 2019.
Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad (SLS-H), cocooned in the upcoming educational zone with state of the art infrastructure, is a vibrant law institute established in 2014, inheriting splendid novelty, dynamism, and excellence in the education of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
The Literary and Debate Cell, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad was established to provide students with an opportunity to liberate their thoughts, act as a platform to voice their opinions, sharpen their oratory skills, and to create an environment to celebrate, discuss and promote literature.
Format: British Parliamentary Debate with a team cap of 32 teams and with n+1 rule
Dates: 7th to 8th September 2019
Venue: Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Eligibility
Students duly enrolled and pursuing any undergraduate or postgraduate course from any university recognized by UGC shall be eligible to participate in the debate.
Each institution seeking to participate may send a maximum of three (3) teams which shall represent the institution. However, a request for additional teams can be put forward by emailing at litdebate[at]slsh.edu.in.
Registration Procedure:
The registration shall be on first come first serve basis with a cap of 32 teams.

Fee Details:
The registration fee for the event shall be Rs. 2,600/- (Inclusive of GST at 18%,) per person payable by the participants on receiving confirmation of their provisional registration. It is inclusive of the registration fee, accommodation on 7th and 8th September, and breakfast and dinner on 7th and 8th September.
Trophies, Certificate of Merit along with Cash Prize worth Rs. 40,000/- and other prizes shall be awarded to various top participants. For further updates on the same, stay tuned to our official Facebook Page here.
