The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Sector-26, Chandigarh-160019 is organizing an AICTE Sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Graphic Design from December 7 to 11, 2020.
National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh, an ISO 9001-2008 certified institute, is one of the four national institutes established by the Government of India in 1967 for the growth and development of technical education in the country.
It is now reckoned as a resource institute for the technical education system providing services to its clientele covering faculty/ staff of technical institutions, officials of directorates/ boards of technical education, central and state govt. departments, industry, students from technical institutes and trainees from overseas.
Course Objectives
Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography, and illustration. This course is designed by keeping in mind the needs of the people having creating aptitude and are eager to learn how to design graphics for print and non-print modes especially focusing on graphics for web designing. By seeing the increasing demand of graphics designing for industrial needs and impactful MOOCS designing in academics the contents are planned accordingly.

The FDP is mainly focused on hands-on approach to gain the knowledge and skills of graphics designing softwares for meeting the needs of academicians.

Eminent resource persons from Industry having rich experience in Graphics Designing Projects and Faculty from Academic institutes of repute.
Registration
There is no registration fee for the course. The Participants can be faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, PG Scholars, Government Institutes, Industry (Bureaucrats/ Technicians/ Participants from Industry etc.) and staff of host institutions.

A test shall be conducted by organizing Committee at the end of the program. E-certificate shall be issued to those participants who have attended the program with minimum 80% attendance and scored minimum 60% marks in the test.
