Online FDP on Alternate Fuels by Anna University, TN [Dec 8-12]: Registrations Open

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University, Tamil Nadu is organizing an AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Alternate Fuels from December 8 to 12, 2020.

Anna University It is a public state university located in Tamil Nadu, India. The main campus is in Guindy, Chennai and the satellite campus is in Chromepet, Chennai. It was established on 4 September 1978.

Course Objectives

The objective of this program is to impart knowledge on the basics, analysis, and applications of alternative fuels for IC engine energy. Participation in this program will be helpful for young teachers engaged in research works in the synthesis, characterization, and application of alternative fuels in the field of automobile engineering. The Faculty Development Programme covers analytical and experimental technology that is used to study and understand the mechanisms and applications of alternative fuel technology.

Who can Attend?

The faculty members of AICTE approved Institutions, Universities, research scholars; participants from Government, Industry (Bureaucrats/ Technicians/ Industry experts, etc.) and professionals from R&D labs.

The Number of participants is limited to 200. There is no course fee and preference will be given to new participants. The selection of the participants will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Due to the COVID 19 situation, the entire FDP will be conducted through online mode. The details of the online platform and the program link will be sent to the registered participants by email and WhatsApp. It is mandatory to attend the test that will be conducted on the last day of the FDP related to the topics covered.

It is also mandatory for the participants to have a minimum of 80% attendance and 60% marks in the test to earn the certificate.
