About
The Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur is organizing an Online Course on Research Trends in Chemical Engineering from October 28 to November 1, 2020.
National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is one of the thirty-one NITs of the country, which came into existence on 7th August 1986 as Regional Engineering College, a joint and cooperative enterprise of the Govt. of India and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. On 26th June 2002, REC Hamirpur was awarded the status of Deemed University and upgraded to National Institute of Technology.
The Institute offers Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs in Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, Management, and Humanities. Various programs serve the purpose of building a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and of enhancing confidence, creativity, and innovation in its students.
Course Objective
The STC will be an opportunity to explore the recent aspects of research in the field of Chemical Engineering. It will assist the participants to achieve the information related to experimental and simulation along with technological advancement in the field of Chemical Engineering and other related interdisciplinary branches.
The participants will get the exposure for advanced research characterization or analytical techniques/ equipment like SEM, AFM, Spin Coating unit, Raman spectroscopy, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, etc. through virtual online lectures by the experts.
The advancement in research/ technology to overcome industrial challenges are in high demand at present scenario. This short-term course consisting of two modules such as online interactions and virtual training, and it designed to train participants on tackling industrial and research challenges.
