The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal is organizing an Online Course on Cyber Security & Digital Forensics from November 23 to 27, 2020.
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal (An Institution of National Importance), offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses and research programs. Under the peaceful and friendly environment, MANIT is producing technocrats who are resources to the Nation and the world. Our bright students with excellent technical skills have always contributed to the successes of various sections towards the technical group.
The total area of campus is 650 acres and protected by a boundary wall and ring road. The entire campus consists of an administrative and academic building, workshop, Library and community center, Residential area accommodation for students and staff, and other general amenities such as a post office, shopping complex, a school for children, dispensary, an auditorium with a capacity of 1000 persons and sports complex with a vast expanse of open area.
Course Objective
The objective of this proposed training program is to identify cyber and information security threats, risks, vulnerabilities and further to explore the concept of Digital forensics such as identification of Digital Evidence, Analysis of Digital Evidence, and Preservation of Digital Evidence This training program will be helpful for participants to conduct hands-on experience in research topics related to Information Security and Digital Forensics.
The proposed training program will cover the basic and advanced topics in the area of Information security and Forensics such as Web application attacks, Cryptography, Forensics examination of digital evidence, Threat Intelligence for Cyber Forensics, Investigation through Data mining Techniques, Cloud Forensics, and Legal Issues with Information security and Forensics.
