About
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal is organizing an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on AI for Building Signal Processing Applications from December 7 to 11, 2020.
National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College was established in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier institute of higher learning and is ranked among the top technical education institutions in India.
There are 13 Departments offering eight undergraduate and 32 post-graduate programs besides doctoral programs. About 5000 students across the country and about 500 international students study on the campus. It is a fully residential campus sprawling over 250 acres with excellent infrastructure, state of the art library, seminar halls, guest houses, and laboratories.

- Signal processing & its Applications
- Python Fundamentals
- AI and It’s Applications for Signal Processing
- CNN for Audio and Video Processing
- AI for Speech Processing
- Pattern Recognition and Image Processing
- Social Signal Processing
- Hands-on session on the above topics will be provided.
Who can Attend?
The programme is open to the faculty and student participants/ Research Scholars of all engineering, colleges, and other allied disciplines in India. Industry personnel working in the concerned/ allied discipline can also attend.
Resource Person
The programme will be conducted by the faculty members from NIT Warangal. Experts from Academia, Industry and Research will handle the theory and hands-on sessions.

- Faculty: Rs. 1,000/- Only
- Industry participants: Rs. 2,000/- Only
- Students/ Research Scholars: Rs. 250/- Only

It is also mandatory to send scanned application form through e-mail to ssp.nitw@gmail.com as selection will be intimated only through mail. To download the registration form, click here. The last date to register is December 1, 2020.
Selection will be done based on first-cum-first-serve basis. Selected candidates will be intimated through e-mail only. On receipt of the proof (Transaction ID) of online payment of registration fee, the applicants will be sent confirmation of their participation through Email immediately.
