Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Project Assistant (PA) to work in the DST-New Delhi (Govt. of India) sponsored research project entitled “Identifying best available technologies for decentralized wastewater treatment and resource recovery for India-Saraswati 2.0” at the Centre for Energy and Environment, MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The position is initially available for one year, which may be extendable based on the candidate’s performance on yearly basis.
Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is a public technical university located in Jaipur, India with an emphasis on science, engineering, and management.

1. Senior Research Fellow (01)
Qualifications
- The applicant must have a Master’s degree in the relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with CGPA not below 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks (where CGPA is not awarded).
- Two years of research experience and highly motivated, research-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant hands-on laboratory experience and a strong background in the area of wastewater treatment, microbiology, and biochemistry are encouraged to apply.
- Research experience in the relevant area, supported by publications in high impact peer-reviewed international journals would be a plus.
- Professional documentation (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Salary
As per DST norms. (INR 35,000/- pm + HRA)
Duration
One year (Maybe extendable based on yearly performance)

2. Project Assistant (01)
Qualifications
- The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant branch of Sciences/ Engineering/ Technology and research experience of one year. Highly motivated, research oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant hands-on laboratory experience and strong back ground in the area of wastewater treatment, microbiology and biochemistry as well as documentation, sampling, data collection are encouraged to apply.
- Professional documentation (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Salary
As per DST norms. (INR 22,000/- pm)
Duration
One year (Maybe extendable based on yearly performance)
