The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences is a premier medical institution in Bengaluru, India.[4] NIMHANS is the apex centre for mental health and neuroscience education in the country. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” on contract basis for a DBT funded project titled “Accelerator program for Discovery in brain disorders using stem cells (ADBS)”– under Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Senior Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.

Essential Qualification
Candidates should possess at least one of the following options of qualification:
Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with any National level entrance exam qualification OR Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B-Tech/B-Pharm) in Biotechnology or equivalent degree with any National level entrance exam qualification OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (M-Tech/M-Pharm) in Biotechnology or equivalent.
Experience
Preference will be given to the candidates with cell culture experience.

Salary
- Rs.32,500 (Consolidated) Per month (For NET/GATE Qualified)
- Rs.20,800 (Consolidated) Per month (Without NET/GATE)
Duration
Initial appointment for two months. Further extension of the contract is contingent on performance.
