Junior Research Fellow at BIT Mesra: Online Interview on Nov 3

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. It was established in the year 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand, India by the philanthropist and industrialist Late Shri. B. M. Birla.

Applications are invited for One (1) post of JRF for SAC, ISRO, Government of India sponsored project: “National Wetland inventory & Assessment (NWIA) Phase-II Project”: PI – Dr. C. Jeganathan.

Above project will be executed in the Department of Remote Sensing, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Initial appointment shall be made for 1year duration. The position shall be co-terminus with the project.

Educational Qualification

M.Tech./ M.Sc in Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Earth Sciences and Allied discipline (with knowledge of RS & GIS) with 1st class.

Emoluments

Rs. 18,000/-  + 15% HRA per month.

Desired Qualification

Preference will be given to candidate with hands-on experience in RS GIS Tools and S/W.
