Applications are invited for JRF Under SERB Funded Project at IIT-BHU, Varanasi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 14 July.
Applications are invited for the following post to work in Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India sponsored research project entitled “Novel integrated engineering approach for effective carbon dioxide removal using biphasic amine blends for coal-based thermal power plant”.
Eligibility
- Qualification: M.Tech. in Chemical engineering with first class and GATE qualified/B.Tech. in Chemical with first class with 8.0 CGPA (out of 10) scale and GATE qualified/ M.Sc. in Environmental science OR Physical Chemistry with first class having studied mathematics at senior secondary/Intermediate (10+2) level and NET qualified.
- Desirable: Candidates with research experience in carbon dioxide removal using amine blends for post combustion CO2 capture will be preferred.
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/physically handicapped/ female candidates). All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Duration
The duration of the project is up to December, 2024.
Salary
One Post @ Rs 31000/- pm fixed (1st year +2nd year) and @ Rs 35000/- pm fixed (3rd year) with house rent allowance at a rate of 16%.
