Applications are invited for JRF Under DST-SERB Funded Project at NIT Srinagar for the year 2022. The last date of application is 15 April.
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India funded research project (EEQ/2021/001071) entitled “Seismic Wave based Tools for the Characterization of Small-Strain Stiffness, Damping and Anisotropy of Soils in the Laboratory”. The duration of the project is 3 years.
Essential Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Soil Dynamics/ Geotechnical Engineering/ Mining Engineering/ Allied disciplines from recognised university with 70% or 7.0 CPI/CGPA (Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidate).
Desirable: Candidates having experience in numerical analysis & simulation of geotechnical structures, working knowledge of field and laboratory geotechnical/geophysical testing, latest data acquisition systems and interpretation, report writing etc.

Rs. 31,000/- (plus 16% HRA as admissible) per month for two (2) years and Rs. 35,000/- (plus 16% HRA as admissible) per month for 3rd year.
