SRF/JRF (1 Post)
Applications are invited for engagement as “Senior Research Fellow (SRF)”/ “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” on Contract basis for the project- ‘Crisis Response and ForestResource Use: Tracking Rural Livelihood Decisions in Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic in Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary and Adjoining Areas (India)’.
Period of engagement: Six (6) Months. The project involves fieldwork.
Emoluments: (a) Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA as per 7th CPC norms for SRF. OR (b) Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per 7th CPC norms for JRF. TA/DA will be provided as per norms during the fieldwork. No other allowances are admissible.
Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) The candidate should have Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Forestry Management/ Social Sciences from a recognized University/ Institute with not less than 55% marks, must be UGC NET qualified and have at least 2 years research/ consulting experience for SRF. OR (b) The candidate should have Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Forestry Management/ Social Sciences from a recognized University/ Institute with not less than 55% marks for JRF.
Desirable Qualification/ Experience: Appreciation of rural natural resource management issues, and human-forest interactions. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and international research team. Ability and willingness to engage with local communities and use social science research tools. Ability to collect data from forest plots (on tree species, regeneration, etc.). Excellent writing skills (briefs and research reports).

Social Media & PR Executive
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for contractual engagement as Social Media & PR Executive
Job Description: Work with Chairperson Media Relations of various programmes to coordinate all social media & PR related activities. To organize outreach programmes under Admission Cell. To create and disseminate newsletters, flyers, posters etc for admissions and alumni activities under PR & branding. To maintain social media presence for these activities and monitor on daily basis. To provide support to Admissions Chairperson in Admission campaigns.
Skills: Conversant with computers and MS Office and Office Management Practices. Good command on written and oral communication skills in English language. Skilled in handling social media. Should be able to create newsletters, posters, social media creations (knowledge of DTP).
Qualifications and Experience: A First class Graduate with good academic record. Candidates having an MBA will be preferred. Candidates having Prior work experience in similar/ equivalent capacity in leading management institutes will be preferred.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 26th October 2020.
Duration: Selected candidate will be offered a fixed-term contractual appointment for a period of one year, which may be extended for a further period as required and depending upon the performance. Candidates may please note that this is a project related position purely on contract basis for the duration mentioned above and have nothing to do with permanent establishment of IIFM.
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.30,000/-. The candidate shall not be eligible for any other allowances or perks.

Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for engagement as “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” on Contract basis for the project- ‘Study of Forest influences on Dynamics of River Eco-system with respect to Climate Change: A study in selected watersheds in Dindori District’.
Period of engagement: Twelve (12) Months or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. The project involves extensive fieldwork with long duration stay in the field.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per 7th CPC norms. TA/DA will be provided as per norms during the fieldwork. No other allowances are admissible.
Essential Qualification and Experience: The candidate should have Post Graduate (PG) degree in Basic Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Professional Course with NET Qualification of any other National Level exam conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and institutions as DST, DBT, DFA, DCS, DRDO, NHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, HSER etc.
Desirable Qualification/ Experience: Experience in writing technical reports, and conducting participatory rural appraisal. Good knowledge of MS office and Google Docs. Well conversant in English and Hindi language.
