Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)) funded project entitled “Post Monsoon Air Pollution over Delhi NCR Region: Analysis, Observation, Chemical Transport Modelling and Health Impact and Mitigation Strategies” under the supervision of Dr. Ram Pravesh Kumar, School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Eligibility
- Qualification: M.Sc in Environmental Science/Atmospheric Science/ Physics/Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System/Geoinformatics/ with NET/GATE qualification.
- Desirable: Candidates having knowledge of Remote Sensing, GIS, Python, Matlab and R statistical Programming language, Chemical transport Modelling (CTM) are encouraged to apply.
Duration
The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary basis initially for one year and renewable next year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum period of two years.
Salary
₹31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as permissible.
