Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on Contract Basis for a project entitled “Development of a skill-based neurocognitive testing protocol to assess cognition and diagnose dementia in a context of complex skills and low literacy” under Dr. Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator.
Junior Research Fellow
- Essential Qualification: Masters in Clinical psychology/Cognitive Science and related fields with 1-2 years’ experience working in clinical setting. The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking Kannada, Hindi language.
- Desirable qualification: Candidate who has cleared NET/GATE and previously has experience working with Dementia
- Key responsibilities: Responsible for collecting behavioral data periodically and to schedule appointments and maintain communication with participants and perform data analysis, entry.
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
- Salary: Rs.31000 + 27%HRA
- Project Period: 3 years Initial appointment will be for 6 months; extendable upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Research Associate
- Essential Qualification: PhD in Clinical Psychology/Cognitive Sciences and related fields with at least one original research article published in science citation indexed (SCI) journal.
- Desirable qualification Clinical experience of 1-2 years
- Key responsibilities: Responsible for patient diagnoses, management and intervention along with PI, supervising and interpretations of imaging data, report directly to the PI about the management of all aspects of the project including strategies for patient recruitment, maintenance of the subject in the study and conduct of protocol procedures.
- Maximum Age Limit 40 Years
- Salary Rs 47000 +27 % HRA
- Project Period 3 years. Initial appointment will be for 6 months; extendable upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
