Dr. Malay Das, Dept. of Life Sciences Presidency University, Kolkata is inviting applications from highly interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time-bound research project for a temporary basis purely on contractual basis.

Project Title

Screening of Indian bamboo germplasms to identify elite genotypes having superior lignocellulosic composition, their ex situ conservation and characterization of the candidate genes.

Salary

Monthly Rs. 25000+30% HRA

Essential Qualification

The candidate must have a good academic record with at least first class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University and must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET with own fellowship or at least NET (LS).

Desirable Qualification

Research interests/experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and basic knowledge in Plant Biology

Selection Process
