About the Organisation
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) develops and maintains road networks in India’s border areas and friendly neighbouring countries. It is staffed by officers and troops drawn from the Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Army Service Corps, Military Police and army personnel on extra regimental employment.
Job Description
The Administrative Officers will have to take up following duties:
- Management to look after the administration and welfare of personnel
- Familiarity with terms and conditions of service and disciplinary rules
- Knowledge of Civil Service Regulations
- Cash disbursement
- Knowledge of stores accounting
- Indenting/accounting and provisioning of all types of rations including fresh supplies and POL (Petrol, Oil and Lubricants).
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised University/Institute.
- Essential Experience: Three years experience of Accounts, Administration and establishment work in a Government Office, Public Sector Undertaking, Autonomous Body, or Statutory Body.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
