Applications are invited for IISER Bhopal Summer Outreach Camp 2022 for Class 9-11 Students. The last date of application is 15 April.
IISER Bhopal invites applications from students interested in attending a short summer camp from May 16-20, 2022 at our campus in Bhauri, Bhopal.
About the Program
The camp aims to enable the participants to understand the central role of science in society. This camp will introduce participants to fascinating topics in natural and engineering sciences through lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises.
This exposure will be supplemented with critical perspectives from Humanities and Social Sciences. Additionally, there will be fun activities through which the participants can interact with the senior students.
Eligibility
Students who are studying in classes IX, X, XI as of May 2022 can apply.
Application
- Interested candidates can apply online via this page.
- After initial screening, the selected candidates would have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 2000/- through the SBI iCollect. The registration fee will include food and lodging expenses for the participants.
Important dates
- April 15, 2022: Last date for submission of application
- April 20, 2022: Shortlisting of candidates – based on merit and representation from various schools (List will be uploaded on our website)
- April 25, 2022: Last date for the payment of the Registration Fee (for selected candidates)
- May 15, 2022: Students arrive on campus
- May 16-20, 2022: Outreach activities
- May 21, 2022: Students depart from campus
