Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the Cellular Immunology Group, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The position is temporary, with an initial tenure of one year, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on a basis, subject to an annual assessment.
The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), established in 1983, is an international, intergovernmental organization conceived as a Centre of excellence for research, training, and technology transfer to industry in the field of biotechnology to promote sustainable global development.

Job Role
The RA is expected to independently carry over the designated work and should be capable of trouble-shooting, amenable to work in a large group and should be highly dedicated and sincere. Experience on working inside BSL3 lab with a pathogen like Mycobacterium tuberculosis will be pre erred.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in any eld of life sciences. Experience in molecular cloning, protein cloning, expression and puri cation in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, making stably transfected eukaryotic cell lines, FACS/ sorting, immunofluorescence, co-IP, Gateway cloning, ChIP, Gel-shift and super-shift assays will be desirable.
