Hackshetra’20: Virtual Hackathon by NIT Kurukshetra [Nov 24-Nov 26, Cash Prizes Worth Rs. 20k + Goodies]: Registration Open

About the Organizer

National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra is a public engineering institute located in Kurukshetra. In December 2008, it was accredited with the status of Institute of National Importance. It is one of the 30 National Institutes of Technology established and administered by Government of India.

About the Event

Hackshetra’20, the flagship event of Altius’20(the techno-managerial fest of NIT Kurukshetra) is once again back providing developers all around the country an opportunity to participate and work on the trending tech themes and to come up with the solutions for common day to day lives. 

This time it’s an online 48 hours long marathon where you can work on any technology including Cloud Computing using Firebase/AWS/Azure, Machine Learning, Alexa Skills, literally anything that you can take out from your toolbox.

  • When: 24th November 2020 (6 p.m.) -26th November 2020. 
  • Where: Online (At devfolio Platform)
Eligibility Criteria

The criteria is quite simple, you are enrolled for any UG program in any college or University provided that you are not in the final year of your graduation. Apart from this you have that fire to learn and your creativity is the limit.


Cash Rewards of 20,000 along with goodies including t-shirts, stickers and many more for top 3 winners.


Themes will be disclosed at 6 p.m. on 24th November 2020.

  • Team consist of 2-3 members.
  • First elimination will be based on abstract submitted by the teams.
  • Second elimination will be based on the progress of the teams after few hours.
