About

Anita Borg was an American computer scientist. She founded the Institute for Women and Technology and the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. The Grace Hopper Celebration India is Asia’s largest gathering of women technologists. It is produced by AnitaB.org and presented in partnership with ACM India.

List of Scholarships
1. GHC 20 Scholarships for Students and Faculty

The GHC Scholars Program provides funds for women who are either undergraduate students, graduate students, or faculty to attend our Celebration. Women who get selected as scholars gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Student and Faculty Scholarships include:

  • Individual Registration.
  • Hotel accommodations.
  • Roundtrip airfare.
  • Stipend (to be used for travel, meals, and incidentals such as rideshares, baggage fees, etc.).
    • We will provide the stipend when you pick up your badge at GHC.

2. GHC Women in Boot Camp Scholarship

AnitaB.org produces Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) in collaboration with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). GHC is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists. Those who attend GHC gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, inspirational role models, and memories that will last a lifetime!

  • Individual Registration
  • Hotel Accommodations
  • Round Trip Airfare
  • Stipend (to be used for travel, meals, and incidentals e.g., rideshares, baggage fees, etc.)
    • We will provide the stipend when you pick up your badge at GHC.

3. GHC 20 Women of Color in Technology Complimentary Registration

At AnitaB.org, we are always looking for ways to increase diversity in tech and to support underrepresented groups in the industry. That is why we created the GHC Women of Color in Tech Complimentary Registration Initiative, providing women of color from underrepresented groups an opportunity to attend Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC), build their networks, and gain knowledge and resources.
Individual Registration for the Celebration. Individual must be able to pay for out-of-pocket expenses associated with attending the event, which includes hotel, travel (flight, train, bus, taxi, etc.), meals, and any additional costs associated with your trip.
