The CSIR-The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad invites applications for a few temporary positions available in a sponsored project in CCMB, Hyderabad under the DBT Grant # GAP0546 entitled “Genome India: Cataloguing the Genetic Variation in Indians” .

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology or CCMB is an Indian fundamental life science research establishment located in Hyderabad that operates under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. CCMB is a designated “Centre of Excellence” by the Global Molecular and Cell Biology Network, UNESCO.

The post details are given below.

 

1. Field Worker (01)

Qualifications

B.Sc. Age Limit: 50 years as of the application closing date.

Salary

Rs. 18,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible.

 

2. Lab Technician (01)

Qualifications

• 3 years Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry or B.Sc.
• 3 years experience after Diploma.
• Age Limit: 50 years as of the application closing date.

Salary

Rs. 18,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible.

 

3. Project Associate-I (04)

Qualifications

B.Tech/ M.Sc. in Life Science/ Computer Science/ Allied Science from a recognized University. Age Limit: 50 years as of the application closing date.

Salary

Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible for NET/GATE qualified and Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible for others.

3. These positions are purely temporary & on contract basis and are co-terminus with the project’s tenure.
4. Selection of the candidates will be based on initial screening based on qualifications / experience & suitability of the candidates to the nature of research project. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview and based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in interview candidates will be empanelled and appointed. The pool of selected candidates will be valid for a maximum period of one year.
5. Empanelment does not provide automatic guarantee of engagement.
6. Candidates who have completed their degree with requisite educational qualifications/ experience only need to apply.
7. The engagement under project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever, either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CCMB, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions or precedent.
8. All the communication regarding the call for interview will be only through electronic mode (through: E-mail/ mobile)
9. The terms and conditions of engagement of project staff may be amended from time to time.
10. The performance of project staff would be reviewed periodically so that candidates not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
