About
The proposed STTP is a twinning activity program and the main objective is to undertake collaborative educational activities to develop new knowledge, tools, and skills amongst researchers, postgraduate students, and practitioners of engineering and architecture, to evaluate the actual performance of (green) buildings from a technical and occupant perspective.
The main focus will be:
To introduce and make awareness of the fundamentals of green building and sustainable design.
To demonstrate a positive impact of building performance evaluation through actual field experiences by inviting professionals/practitioners from different domains through their presented case studies.
To impart training in terms of finding ways to improve performance as well as recognizing commissioning and operation practices that allow building performance to exceed design expectations.
Course Highlights
The invited eminent speakers will present the outcomes of the research carried out in recent times. The program will be benefited by renowned academicians, professionals’ practitioners, researchers, and engineers. Major themes of STTP would be as follows:
- Introduction to Building Envelope.
- Green Building Rating System: What, Why and How.
- Performance Evaluation of Building.
Who should Attend?
Faculty members from AICTE recognized institutes/research scholars’ / practicing engineers with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/planning/ architecture are eligible for the STTP.
