TISS Mumbai is looking for one consultant to prepare community forest rights recognised maps for 100 villages in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra.
The consultant is required to prepare community forest recognised maps for 100 villages in Chandrapur using a combination of revenue map, forest map, and GIS techniques.
Duration
The duration of the assessment work is two months from 1st August-30th September 2022.
Eligibility
- The applicants are required to have adequate knowledge on GIS and field experience on forest rights act implementation process.
- Understanding on forest policy and history, forest rights act 2006
- Speaking and writing in Marathi.

The application must include a detailed description of the organisation and its work on forest rights in Maharashtra. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview over zoom on 22nd July.
