The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 1951. It was the first of the IITs to be established, and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India.
About Conference
Climate change, in recent decades, has significantly affected the natural and human systems in all continents and across the oceans. Unprecedented climate-related extremes, such as heat waves, droughts, floods, cyclones, wildfires, shifts in climate zones and seasonality, and increase in sea level and temperature, have been reported from many parts of the globe.
In order to deliberate on the above issues, an International Conference on “Climate Change Impacts, Vulnerabilities, and Adaptation: Emphasis on India and Neighbourhood (CCIVA 2019)”, will be hosted at the Centre for Oceans, Rivers, Atmosphere and Land Sciences (CORAL), Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP), West Bengal, India.
Call for Papers
Researchers interested in participating in this Conference are requested to submit their abstracts (with title, authors, affiliations, and keywords) of their proposed papers. The abstracts should be prepared in MS Word (A4 size, 1” margins, Times New Roman 12 points, 1.5 line spacing) and send to CCIVA2019@coral.iitkgp.ac.in.
