The Asian College of Journalism invites graduates in any discipline to apply for the post graduate program in Journalism to be conducted at ACJ, Chennai.
The last date for submission of applications is April 17, 2017.
Applications can be submitted online or downloaded and submitted physically. The application fee is Rs 1500.
Admissions are based on the performance in an entrance exam to be conducted on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the following cities – Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bhopal, Lucknow, Ranchi, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Ahmedabad, and possibly other cities, depending on the number of applications received from a particular region
The examination will be delivered online in real time and will be in two parts: (a) to test the applicant’s English language skills and facility and (b) the awareness of current affairs and general knowledge. It will also test the candidates’ writing ability and assess their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Other procedures may be prescribed for candidates from abroad.
Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will be called for an interview at the college between June 1 and 5, 2017.
Admission results will be announced on June 7, 2017.
