Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment of Senior Research fellow (ONE) in DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Understanding the association between mitochondrial Dynamics and tamoxifen resistance in breast cancer cells” under the supervision of Dr. B.S. Lakshmi, Associate professor, Anna University, Chennai-25 for a period of one year or till the end of the project.
Anna University is a public state university located in Tamil Nadu, India. The main campus is in Guindy, Chennai and the satellite campus is in Chromepet, Chennai. It was established on 4 September 1978.

Qualifications
Post-graduate degree M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biological sciences/ post-graduate degree in professional courses – M.S (By Research), M.Tech Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical Technology selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Two years of Research Experience and Desirable: Experience in animal cell culture.
Salary
Fellowship of Rs.35,000 + HRA as applicable
